How We Produce Our Content

Rigorous Fact-Checking

All figures, dates, and proper names published in our articles are limited to information substantiated by primary-source materials or our own reporting. When using estimates or forecasts, we clearly identify them as such and state the basis of the calculation, including who produced the estimate.

How We Cite Sources

Materials referenced or quoted in an article are identified at the relevant point in the text. As a rule, publicly available sources are linked. Where information obtained through interviews must remain confidential or is subject to the source’s wishes, we note this appropriately.

Handling Overseas Information

The editorial team carefully reviews overseas primary sources and publications in their original language before reconstructing the content in Japanese. Likewise, Japanese primary sources and publications are carefully reviewed in the original before being reconstructed in English. We never republish machine translations without authorization, and we provide links wherever the original source is publicly accessible.

Review by Interviewees

Before publishing an interview article, we ask the interviewee to review the relevant passages to ensure the accuracy of their statements. We promptly correct factual errors; however, the editorial team retains full authority over the article’s structure, development of its argument, and headlines.

Bilingual Publication in Japanese and English

As a general rule, articles are published in both Japanese and English. Both language versions are developed under the direction of the editorial team. While the expression in each version is optimized for the characteristics of its readership, consistency in facts and conclusions is maintained throughout.

Author Attribution

The author’s name is stated on every article. The views expressed by external contributors or individual interviewees do not necessarily represent the official views of the company.

Corrections and Updates Policy

If an error is identified in a published article, we promptly correct the relevant passage and record the date and details of the change at the end of the article. We do not conceal errors or make silent substitutions. If you notice an error in an article, please notify us through our contact form.

Revisions to This Policy

This policy is reviewed as appropriate in response to the development of the publication and changes in the business environment. When revisions are made, we announce them on this page together with the revision date.
